IF you promote any affiliate products at all you need to be aware of two problems with affiliate links:

1.      They look hideous and are ridiculously long 

2.      They are too easy to modify by ‘affiliate thieves’

Believe it or not, in addition to outright thieves, there are countless others that, for some peculiar reason, don’t want you to earn a commission—even though you took the time to recommend an affiliate product or service—and even though they are going to pay the full advertised price. They just modify your link to exclude you from the process—sucks, doesn’t it?

And, its been tested and proven over and over that people just don’t like those long drawn out  ugly looking links and don’t click them as often as they do neat and tidy ones. Why? Who knows, but that’s the facts, don’t fight it, do something about it.

What can you do about ugly affiliate links?

1.      Set up a redirect page. If you use XsitePro to make your websites (and you should) you can create a redirect page that cloaks your ugly affiliate link.  It can be done it less than a minute. I do it all the time. 

2.      You can buy affiliate link cloaking software for $37 or more.

In just two more days we will finally see the launch of the long-awaited Firepow Blogging Software.

Did you know that the average person can easily comprehend over 600 spoken words per minute? Yet most people can only speak up to about 150 words per minute. So when your listening to the latest MP3 from your favorite Internet Marketing guru’s last seminar you’re really not tapping into the full power of your mind–and probably wasting a lot of valuable time to boot..
